Cosmology, especially the statistical analysis of galaxy redshift and peculiar velocity surveys, calibration of the extragalactic distance scale and Bayesian and robust statistical methods for estimating cosmological parameters. Gravitational microlensing and its applications in diagnosing planetary and stellar atmospheres, circumstellar envelopes and stellar winds. Bayesian methods for gravitational wave data analysis, particularly the mergers of supermassive black holes which will be targets for the proposed LISA satellite.
